Our guide Matt, was Excellent!!! He was very knowledgeable, courteous and fun! Accommodation was made to make the trip a joy for everyone. Enough rest-stops to stretch your legs and experience the place first-hand. We had a fantastic day and recommend this trip to anyone who wants to see a bit of the coast and I actually learned a lot in spite of myself. Thanks Matt! You're the Best!Sheila W., United States, 10-2008
the tour is ten hours long and well worth the visit the coast road beautiful and the stops that the tour company does are well planned. It was dark when we returned to San Fransisco and the bus driver kindly dropped every one off at their hotel. long day but well worth it. Tina C., United Kingdom, 09-2008
The disappointing part was not enough time in Carmel to do more than either look at shops which closed at 5:30, or grab a rushed bite to eat for supper. No time to get to beach area.Judy G., United States, 09-2008
This is the excellent tour.Hoang A., Vietnam, 09-2008
The trip was long but worth it! We got to see some beautiful parts of the California coast in the comfort of a bus rather than attempting to drive it ourselves. Our driver, William ensured that we had enough time at each stop and also stopped along some of the most beautiful areas so that we could get off the bus and take pictures.
William was very knowledgeable about the area and its history.Pat M., United States, 07-2008
The tour was a good overview of the Monterey and Carmel areas and created a desire to return at later date with more time to visit the area.John E., United States, 06-2008
I wanted to go to Monterey and initially I didn't have company. So, I was looking of different options of getting there. While searching for details about the trip and the attractions there, I chanced upon their website. It was a very useful website with a detailed description of what the itinerary is and what we can expect. In accordance with what they had promised, the tour had the exact same time frame for each activity. Since Bay aquarium was the main attraction for me, I wanted to know how long I get to stay there. When I called up on their toll-free number the staff was very courteous and patient in answering all my questions, and clarified all my doubts. I feel guilty about not remembering his name. As promised, we got to spend 1-1/2 hours at the aquarium. In fact, we spent an extra half-hour there as there wasn't much traffic on the roads that morning (it was a cloudy Saturday), and our driver-cum-guide was kind enough to let us spend that extra time at the aquarium. The guide was extremely sweet, courteous, and helpful, and gave us very good advice on what to eat, where to go (esp. at the Cannery Row where people tend to get lost), and had an excellent sense of humor. He pepped up his tour guide info with timely jokes and quick wit humor. I would definitely recommend this tour to others.
The only flip side and disappointment for me was the amount of time we got to spend at the Pebble beach. it was a mere 10-min. photo shoot stop and in the hurried affair of capturing it in my camera, I forgot to enjoy the awesome beach. I wish there was a little more time to spend there.shanti n., United States, 05-2008
Really appreciated being picked up and dropped off at our hotel in a timely fashion. The tour had frequent stops at interesting scenic spots or for restroom/snack purchases. Would have liked more time in Carmel and less in Monterey and would have liked knowing that Pleasant Beach next to Monterey would have made a pleasant walk rather than the touristy stuff in Monterey. History of area and anecdotes were of interest and added to the day. Pebble Beach and 17 mile drive were the highlights of the day, along with Carmel.Shari E., United States, 03-2008
The driver/tour guide was superb. We had a great time. It was a wonderful day!Barbara R., United States, 10-2007
The tour was very well guided by a competent driver. It fulfilled all our expectations and all places as described were visited.Heinz S., Switzerland, 07-2007
