The tour I took was to Muir Wood & the Wine country. The location of the tour was very good. However, it would have been nicer to have more involvement from the tour guide at the locations. For example at Muir Wood it would have been nicer to have more interaction.
On the Wine Tour, it was good and our tour guide Tim was very informative. However, I had expected to see more of the vineyards rather than the tasting rooms. I think it would have been very easy for me to have driven out to the town myself and found the tasting rooms. I really wanted to see the vineyards and perhaps get a better understanding for how they make wine in this region. This was my main disappointment for the trip.

Although this tour didn't include the city but rather the surrounding areas, I felt that it was worth the time and money. Our tour guide from the beginning was fun, open, and informative. She was able to provide information about the city historically as well as provide information on places to go. Her driving was safe and comfortable. In my opinion, my visit to San Francisco would have been incomplete without taking these tours. Alcatraz is a must see attraction in the area and had I not booked the tour prior to leaving home, I would not have been able to go to it because all tickets for the ferry were sold for over a week in advance. For every confirmed booking you will receive 2 e-mails with your E-Ticket Vouchers - when both parts of your combo tour booking
are confirmed. Please present the 1st E-Ticket voucher at the Tour Office for your Wine Country Tour. The 2nd email will be your voucher for Alcatraz reservation.
Alcatraz Tickets are held at Pre-Paid Will Call:
Your Alcatraz boarding tickets will be held at at PIER 33.
Present your Alcatraz Voucher, picture ID and credit card used on the reservation transaction to receive your boarding tickets. Be sure to show up 30 to 45 minutes before your Alcatraz cruise! Tickets may not be picked up prior to the tour date.
Wine Country Cancellation and No Show Policy:
Minimum 20% fee charged for any cancellations once the tour is booked.
∙ Cancellations less than 72 hours before trip departure are charged 30% of the total price.
∙ Cancellations less than 24 hours before trip departure are charged 50% of the total price.
∙ Cancellations less than 12 hours before trip departure and No-Shows are charged 100%.
∙ No-Shows are not entitled to any refund and so are responsible for the full amount (100%) of the trip price. Customers are considered a No-Show if they cancel the morning of the trip, are not at the designated pickup location at the correct time, or for any other reason miss a tour without informing Incredible Adventures at least 12 hours prior to departure (such as not giving us their hotel info).
